Spanish Giants Barcelona are eyeing a multi-player transfer for Tottenham ace Tanguy Ndombele.
According to English news outlets Sky Sports, the Spanish champions are keen on signing the French international and have offered several players in a bid for an exchange deal.
Ndombele arrived Spurs in the summer for a record fee of £54 million but has failed to sparkle.
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho does not think highly off him with his recent criticism of his attitude towards playing.
Barcelona believe that Ndombele can add the necessary physicality to the midfield which can be bullied on occasion by strong players.
It is understood that they have offered centre back Samuel Umtiti and fullback Nelson Semedo as part of the deal.
One player that could be of interest to Spurs is Brazilian playmaker Arthur. The English outfit have monitored the midfielder recently and could demand the player plus cash for Ndombele.
The Covid 19 pandemic has distorted the season for several clubs with steep financial implications.
Ndombele is a quality midfielder but has lost his way this season. It will be interesting to see if he can cope in the relatively high pressure environment at the Camp Nou.
