Chelsea stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga is willing to accept a major pay cut in the bid to return back to Spain this summer. The Spanish stopper has endured an indifferent season with loss of form and confidence seeing him dropped on occasions by manager Frank Lampard.
The Sun claims that Kepa who is two years into the six-year contract he signed is keen on making a move from the club. The former Bilbao stopper earns around £150,000 a week and is willing to take a pay cut to move to a new club.
He has been linked with a move to Sevilla or as part of a swap deal involving Jan Oblak in recent weeks. Chelsea are thought to be mulling about his future and some within the club believe that he can come good for the club.
Chelsea are eager to build a squad that can challenge for the title next season and have already brought in the pair of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner from Ajax and RB Leipzig respectively. Ajax stopper Andre Onana has been linked as a potential replacement for Kepa and the coming weeks will shed more light on his future.
