PSG have made a last ditch effort to keep French left-back Layvin Kurzawa according to reports from France. The defender was expected to leave the Paris club after failing to be handed a new contract.
However, France Football reports that the situation has changed and the French giants have offered the defender a four-year contract extension to keep him in the French capital.
Kurzawa is rumoured to be a transfer target for Chelsea and Tottenham and there are news that the player has begun talks with both clubs regarding a transfer.
The marauding fullback is known for his attacking instinct but has been criticized in some quarters for his poor defensive discipline. It is thought that PSG are looking to keep the player as they beef up their squad for the Champions League quarter-finals in August.
The French side are set to be shorthanded with Edinson Cavani and Thomas Meunier set to depart at the end of the month. Kurzawa exit would further deplete the team.
It is not known whether Kurzawa favours a stay with the French club where he has struggled to break into the first team.
