Manchester City are confident of sealing a deal for Valencia winger Ferran Torres according to reports from Spain. Torress has enjoyed a massive rise at the Mastella this season and has been linked with a move away from the club in recent weeks.
With the youngster, current deal expiring in 2021 Valencia are eager to sign a new deal. However, reports in Spain suggests that the player is looking to move as he believes that is the best decision for his career.
Manchester City are among the club’s interested in his services and are thought to have convinced the 20-year-old on a move to England. Ferran is a direct pacy forward that has drawn a lot of attention in Spain with his form across the season.
City believes that he can be the ideal replacement for German star Leroy Sane. Spanish tabloid Super Deporte claims that a deal is getting closer as Valencia owner Peter Lim and Sheikh Mansour are close friends. It was also suggested that a fee of around €50 million has been mooted for the youngster.
