Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has refused to say definitively that he will still be an Aston Villa player next season. He was asked after their 1-0 win over Arsenal on Tuesday, the England international gave a rather non convincing answer when asked about his future.
Grealish put in a man of the match performance against the Gunners to help push the Blue and Claret army out of the relegation zone with just one game left to play. Their fate is now firmly in their own hands, should they avoid defeat in their last game against already safe West Ham United, Villa will play Epl football next season.
The status of the ahead of next season will have no role to play in the future of Grealish, as he has told close associates that he will not be at Villa Park next season.
Grealish has been a long term target for Manchester United. The Red Devils were monitoring James Madison and Grealish during the winter transfer window. United were put off by the asking price of Leicester for Madison, it now appears that Grealish is now top of their list.
Man United are not the only club showing interest in Grealish, as Arsenal have joined the race. The gunners have sent representatives to watch the Villa captain in recent weeks.
