Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is hopeful of retaining the services of Chile forward Alexis Sanchez. Sanchez is currently on-loan from Manchester United and there are speculations that the United forward could be on his way out of the club.
However, Conte is hopeful that Inter Milan can extend his stay for the Europa League later stages. The Italian tactician speaking to media spoke of his hope that the club can resolve his current loan status.
“I hope the club can resolve the issue, because for three-quarters of the season we only had Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez plus a teenager in Sebastiano Esposito.
“The lads deserve even more credit and I hope the club can resolve this, because we need alternatives.” He said.
Sanchez netted in Inter Milan victory over Genoa and has enjoyed a decent spell at the San Siro. Manchester United are said to favour a permanent move for the forward and the coming days should throw more light to his future.
