Manchester United have had an initial bid for Borussia Dortmund hotshot Jadon Sancho rejected. German tabloid BILD claims that the Old Trafford outfit had an opening bid of around £89m rejected by the German giants.
Sancho is regarded as one of the best young forwards in the game and has enjoyed a meteoric rise in recent years. It is widely thought that United are interested in the player with most news outlets expecting a transfer to occur this summer.
Dortmund meanwhile are adamant about their valuation of £109m and believes that any club must stump that fee to secure his services.
Sancho is expected to return to training on Thursday as Dortmund prepare for next season as they look to wrestle the League crown from rivals Bayern Munich. Sancho is the ideal marquee player for the Red Devils and it will be interesting to see how this transfer develops in the coming weeks.
