Manchester United are reportedly interested in Monaco prodigy Benoit Badiashile according to reports from France. It is understood that the talented youngster has caught the eye at Old Trafford with the Red Devils preparing a bid ahead of the transfer window.
Italian tabloid Foot Mercato reports that Manchester United are set to undergo a revamp in the summer with the likes of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones expected to leave. This would enable the club to have massive wage space to accommodate new signings.
It is understood that Badiashile is rated highly by United who have been monitoring his progress for the last two years. The 19-year-old is considered as one of the top young talents in French football and Monaco are unwilling to sell.
It is further believed that the defender has a number of suitors with the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Rennes and Lyon interested in his services. Badiashile continued his ascent to the first team this campaign and made 16 appearances for the club in the League.
