Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified three players that he seeks to sell in the summer. The Mirror claims that Solskjaer is ready to offload Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo as part of a summer clear-out at Old Trafford.
It is reported that Solskjaer has been informed to trim the squad ahead of a busy summer. United transfer chief Ed Woodward is expected to back Solskjaer in the summer but the club wants to reduce their current wage bill.
Phil Jones has made just two Premier League appearances this campaign and is deemed surplus to requirements by the Norwegian tactician.
The former Blackburn ace has failed to fulfil his potentials as a combination of inconsistency and injuries has largely derailed his career.
Smalling meanwhile was sent on loan to Italian side Roma last summer and has impressed in his time Italy. During this period he has started 21 games for the Italian giants and is expected to sign permanently in the summer.
Rojo meanwhile is on loan at Argentine side Estudiantes but has made a solitary appearance since leaving in January.
