According to reports from England Manchester United will approach Real Madrid over the sale of star winger Gareth Bale at the end of the season.
The reports also stated that United are also open to a loan deal. Bale had endured a tough year with Real Madrid. He has gone against the fans and his popularity with the Madridistas is at the lowest. While head coach Zinidine Zidane has constantly rejected any rumour if rift between the pairs he has relegated the €100 million man to a bit part role in his squad.
Despite Real Madrid’s heavy fixtures, the manager has refused to play Bale in each of the team’s last 5 league games. He however handed minutes to the likes of Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio and Rodrygo.
As it has always been for the past three summers, Bale will likely be the subject of another transfer rumours once the window reopens. But finding someone to take on his huge wages is going to be harder this time due to Covid19.
A loan move is a possibility, but Real can still expect to pay a higher percentage of his wages.
